Celebrity lookalikes aren’t particularly difficult to find online, but it’s considerably rarer for the celebrity themselves to get involved.

And the actor’s response made the whole thing even better.
The story began in August 2022 when Cora’s mum, Dani Grier Mulvenna, shared side-by-side pictures of her daughter and the Zombieland actor.
Both were pictured wearing huge, open-mouthed smiles and, once placed alongside one another, the resemblance was difficult to ignore.
Mulvenna joked: “Ok but how does our daughter look like Woody Harrelson,”
It turned out that hundreds of thousands of other people could see it too.
The post exploded online, attracting more than 487,000 likes at the time and eventually reaching Harrelson himself.
Rather than simply acknowledging his considerably younger doppelganger, the Now You See Me actor decided Cora deserved something a little more personal.
Harrelson took a screenshot of the original comparison and shared it with his Instagram followers, where he wrote a short poem dedicated to the baby.
He wrote: “Ode to Cora—/You’re an adorable child/Flattered to be compared/You have a wonderful smile/I just wish I had your hair.”
The post proved enormously popular in its own right, gathering more than 355,000 likes and thousands of comments.
For Cora’s mum, having a Hollywood actor unexpectedly write a poem about her daughter understandably came as quite a surprise.
She responded: “You’ve made our day. Can’t wait to show her this when she’s older, you have another fan for life.”
Mulvenna subsequently shared a screenshot of Harrelson’s response on Twitter and summed up the rather unusual experience perfectly.
“It’s not every day Woody Harrelson writes your daughter a poem,” she wrote.
The wholesome exchange quickly attracted even more attention, with social media users praising both Cora’s resemblance to the actor and Harrelson’s decision to play along with the viral comparison.
One person wrote: “HAHAHA THE HAIR PART. Soooo f**king cute I cannot. Love [Harrelson] so much truly,”
Another reacted: “Oh my god this is incredible,”
Someone else added: “That [the poem] is very adorable, as is your beautiful daughter,”
Harrelson’s response also appeared to catch people off guard with just how sweet it was.
One commenter wrote: “I never knew Woody Harrelson could be so wholesome,”
Another said: “Aww adorable, beautiful gesture for a beautiful baby,”
While one person summed up the reaction by writing: “The wholesome moment I didn’t know I needed.”
As the attention around the pictures continued, Mulvenna later shared another photo of her daughter and thanked everyone for the overwhelmingly positive response. She also clarified one important detail: Cora wasn’t walking around looking exactly like a miniature Woody Harrelson all of the time.
“Cora says, thank you all so much for the likes and retweets and also that she doesn’t always look like Woody Harrelson, it’s just that when she does…she really really does,” she wrote.
I don’t know if I have a celebrity lookalike. What I do know is this: I wish Woody Harrelson wrote a poem for me.
