At 96 years old, most people might be slowing down. Grandma Droniak, however, seems to be doing the exact opposite.
Thank you for reading this post, don't forget to subscribe! The viral internet personality — better known to millions online as Lillian Droniak — has found herself at the centre of yet another social media storm after revealing that her retirement home threatened to kick her out over her now-infamous late-night parties.
And in typical Grandma Droniak fashion, she didn’t exactly take the warning quietly.
The 96-year-old influencer, who has built a massive following across TikTok and Instagram thanks to her brutally honest humour, dating advice, and unapologetic takes on ageing, shared the drama in a video that quickly exploded online.
In the clip, she held up what appeared to be an official warning letter from her nursing home, claiming management had finally reached breaking point over her gatherings.
“I’m getting kicked out of the nursing home,” she told followers. “I just got this letter. It says you’re getting kicked out if you don’t stop the parties.”
According to the letter shown in the video, staff had received “many noise complaints” linked to Droniak’s room, with management making it clear that these kinds of gatherings were against the rules.
But it wasn’t just the noise causing concern.
The notice also warned that alcohol could not be served to fellow residents due to safety issues — a detail that seemingly played a big role in the complaints.
Perhaps most eyebrow-raising of all, the letter claimed security cameras had caught residents leaving her room as late as 1AM, suggesting these weren’t exactly quiet tea-and-biscuit evenings.
Management reportedly warned that if things continued, visitor privileges could be restricted and her residency itself could be reviewed.
That might be enough to scare most people into keeping the volume down.
Not Grandma Droniak.
In a move that perfectly summed up why millions adore her, she simply ripped the warning letter in half on camera.
“I could do what I want. I pay $12,000 a month to live here,” she said. “I could party if I wanna.”
And if anyone thought that meant the celebrations were over, she quickly shut that down too.
“My girlfriends are coming over tonight. We’re gonna drink and gossip. It’s not a party, but we do get rowdy. I can’t help it. I love to party.”
That final line only fuelled the internet’s obsession.
Within hours, the clip had gone viral across multiple platforms, with fans flooding the comments in support — and even some major celebrities getting involved.
Among them was hotel heiress and reality TV icon Paris Hilton, who offered a very on-brand solution if the nursing home drama escalated.
“You deserve to keep Sliving. Sending you 500k Hilton Honors points so you can go party it up at a Hilton. My Hilton fam will be in touch,” she said.
That wasn’t the only celebrity backing her.
Nicole Polizzi — better known to most as Snooki — also jumped in, jokingly volunteering her legal services: “I will be your lawyer and sue.”
Droniak has carved out a huge online audience by leaning into the chaos of life in her 90s, regularly sharing videos about relationships, family drama, and ageing with a sharpness that cuts through the noise of typical influencer culture.
Her fans have embraced her no-filter attitude, and this latest controversy only seems to have strengthened that bond.
Thankfully for everyone invested in the saga, it appears the fallout hasn’t ended with an actual eviction.
A representative for Droniak later confirmed to People that the issue has “been resolved with her nursing home,” with the facility reportedly allowing her to continue having late-night visitors — under one condition.
She can’t provide the alcohol.
Whether that rule sticks long-term remains to be seen.
