A YouTuber who once broke the internet with a brutally honest video about struggling with his appearance is now celebrating a completely different chapter of life — marriage, fatherhood and a love story millions of people still can’t get enough of.

At a time when social media was becoming increasingly dominated by filters, perfection and carefully curated lifestyles, Martinsson’s raw honesty hit people hard.
In the video, he admitted: “My entire life I have been treated quite bad. I feel really alone, and I feel like I was going to search YouTube for people with the same issue as me, and that is being really unattractive.”
He also explained how his confidence issues had affected his chances of finding love, something that made the response to the video even more unexpected.
After amassing 26 million views, thousands of viewers flooded the comments with messages of support – but it was one reply ended up completely changing his life.
A woman named Juliana commented: “I actually think you’re kinda cute tbh. I mean it.”
What started as a simple YouTube comment quickly turned into one of the internet’s most unlikely love stories.
The pair began speaking after the video went viral, eventually starting a relationship before getting married just one year later.
Juliana later returned to the original comment section with a now-famous update, writing: “1 year later I’m his wife.”
Looking back on how it all started, she later explained: “Shortly after the wedding I remembered the first comment I ever made to him on his channel :p little did I know that the guy that popped up on my YouTube recommended and I thought he was very cute was going to be my husband. Funny how destiny works.”
Over the years, Martinsson transformed his channel into something far more hopeful than the heartbreaking video that first made him famous, regularly sharing updates about his life with Juliana and building an audience of more than 400,000 subscribers in the process.
Now, the couple’s story has entered another major milestone.
They recently welcomed their first child together, with Martinsson revealing in one of his videos: “Today we’ve just going to be talking about stuff that’s been going on lately and the biggest news is we finally know the gender.
“It’s a girl and her name’s going to be Stella. Yeah. So that’s what’s going on.”
The update delighted longtime followers who have watched the pair’s relationship evolve from a random YouTube interaction into a full family life.
Juliana recently shared another glimpse into their lives on TikTok, posting a clip of herself and Martinsson walking through the snow with their daughter in a stroller.
The caption read: “POV: Flirted too hard and now I’m carrying a stroller in the middle of the Swedish winter.”
She then added: “I wouldn’t trade it for anything in the world tho.”
For many viewers, it was the first time they had seen Martinsson appear on her page in quite some time, and the reaction online was immediate.

Others reflected on just how long they had followed the couple’s story online.

Before the birth of their daughter, Martinsson launched a GoFundMe page after Juliana reportedly experienced issues obtaining an EU card during her pregnancy. According to Martinsson, the situation created major financial difficulties for the family and even forced them to put plans to move to Argentina on hold.
Despite those challenges, supporters continue to rally around the couple, who remain one of the internet’s most unexpectedly wholesome success stories in the history of social media.
