When it comes to dog content on social media, it takes a lot to genuinely surprise the internet these days. But that’s exactly what happened when one dog owner shared a clip that quickly spiralled into viral territory, racking up millions of views and an avalanche of comments.

At first glance, it looks like a standard social media video of a woman showing off her beloved pup. Then you notice the dog.

The dog mum in question, named Rozi Flávia, has amassed over 800,000 followers on Instagram by sharing her life with her miniature pinscher, Yoshi.

And in one video, which has amassed over 10 million views, little Yoshi has been transformed into what can only be described as a miniature version of Rozi – complete with a wig, glasses, and an expression that has completely broken the internet.

The result? A strangely uncanny resemblance that viewers simply couldn’t get over.

Some people genuinely thought the whole thing wasn’t real. “I thought it was AI,” one user admitted, echoing the confusion of thousands who couldn’t quite process what they were seeing.

Others didn’t even realise what they were looking at initially. “I thought the dog was a chicken,” another joked. Others compared Yoshi to a “rotisserie chicken” and even a “dehydrated version” of Rozi.

“No need [for a] DNA test here,” another added, as the idea that the pair looked eerily alike became the dominant theme.

“The resemblance is uncanny,” one person commented, with another quipping: “That dog looks like it can unlock ur phone by face.”

It wasn’t just the styling either — it was the expressions. One detail in particular had viewers doing double takes.

“IS NO ONE GONNA TALK ABOUT HOW IT LOOKS LIKE ITS LAUGHING WITH HER,” one user pointed out, noticing how the dog’s face seemed to mirror its owner’s reaction almost perfectly.

At that point, the internet had fully committed to the bit.

“I’m sorry, but this reminded me of Snoop Dogg,” one viewer wrote — which appears to be a common theme with Yoshi.

Even the creator herself admitted the moment wasn’t entirely planned, explaining in the caption: “Minha intenção era fala da Páscoa mas quando eu vi ele lindo assim, eu não aguentei não kkkkkkkkk o Yoshi é demais”

Roughly translated, that means: “My intention was to talk about Easter, but when I saw him laughing like that, I couldn’t resist, lol. Yoshi is amazing!”

And honestly, both I and the whole of social media are glad she did. Because I really needed this today.
